I've found lots of discussions on the weather but have't come across definitions of "fine."
Can anybody help me understand what people mean when theysay "It's fine" regarding the weather in their places?
Do you often use that expression when you answer to the question: How's the weather there? If so, what exactly do you mean?

In this context, fine means good. I checked both COCA and BNC and there are no more than 100 hits for either "fine weather" or "weather * fine". However, it looks like it is fairly used in books (I looked it up in GBAE - Google Books: American English).
Regarding the weather, to me fine means not raining.
