Hello to everyone on this wonderful forum!
Here's a sentence:
By diagnosing an illness early, there is more hope that lifestyle change and medications can help avoid complications.
My question is related to the grammatical structure of this sentence: is it a misprint or is it right to say "there is more hope that lifestyle change" and not "...that lifestyle changes", for example?
Thanks in advance.![]()
'Change' is a noun here. Lifestyle change = change in lifestyle.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
Thanks! It was really silly of me.)))
