Question
Hello, could you do me a favour and answer which of these options is correct.
I know, but it was getting late, and we had been driving all day, and I wanted to stop. If we hadn't, we might not have found a hotel and we WOULD STILL BE DRIVING. That WOULD BE awful.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question
Welcome to the forum Nastyaa.
Both are possible.
Please try to give your threads helpful titles ''Would be/have been driving?' would have been fine for this.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.
