    Default card gets declined

    What does the following mean? "my bank card was declined" can somebody explain it to me,please?

    The credit card company refused to extend her any credit for the purchase, so her credit card was declined.

    It means that when you tried to pay for something with your card, your bank refused to authorise the payment.
