'To lull someone into a false sense of security' means to make somebody believe something is right, safe, etc. I twisted the expression a bit to come out with a slogan of my own "When truth overpowers your false sense of security". Later realized it was a little too long. So I'm wondering if there is a word that can replace the phrase 'false sense of security' or not? Thank you in advance! Best regards, Kenneth

I can't think of a single word for that, and the slogan doesn't strike me as too long.

Alright then, if it's not too long I think I'd better stick to that one. Thanks a lot, tdol!
