Is it correct to say this, 'There is one there already.' ?What I want to say is I saw a key already in the lock. I don't need another key to the lock.

If by, "There is one there already," you mean, "There is one already in place," then you are correct. The repitition of the word 'there' might be confusing. I would suggest simply rephrasing the sentence to avoid repeating 'there.'
It also sounds a little less confusing with a contraction:
