    Good morning Hoangkha,

Before the computer age, " / " does not seem to have existed. It's technical term is a forward slash. I have an old IBM Selectric Typewriter and I still use it from time to time to write certain types of letters. Neither the forward slash nor the backward slash (
\ ) are on the keyboard.

As your question is about I live at 25/30, that would have been a better thread title.

Before the computer age, '/' appears to have been called a solidus, according to Wikipedia.

However, I never heard it called that in my early typing days when we called it a stroke or an oblique.

These days it's a slash or forward slash (if it's considered necessary to distinguish it from a backslash.

"I live at 25/30" seems a very odd thing to say.

It's natural in some parts of the world. My address is Streetname 617/15. The first number is something to do with the order in which building plots or permits were registered. The second number is the number of the house in the street. The number of the other half of the two semi-detached houses is 617/13 (same plot and/or permit). The house on the other side of mine is 840/17 (a later plot/permit registration)

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

In your example of an address, I would just use slash- there's no need to state that it is a forward slash.

If talking to someone who knew the system for addressing, I would probably just say twenty-five thirty.
