The words '(Lord/God/Father) Give me (the) strength' are sometimes said when one is faced with a situation that is difficult to bear, frustrating, annoying etc. They may have their origin in the Serenity Prayer, which begins (in one of its versions): "God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed,". In other versions, the word 'grace' appears as 'courage' or 'strength'.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
