    Default "If" and Descriptive Accounts

Hi, I have 2 different questions regarding the usage of "If" and imaginative description.

    "If"

When we use "If", do we use:

    1) Past tense form

e.g. If your future husband wore a black-suit on that day, would you like it?

    or

    2) Present tense form?

If it rains tomorrow, let's call the game off.

    Imaginative Description

When we are describing something or telling a story (fictional), do we use past or present form?

Example 1 (present form): "Imagine, you are walking down the street, and 3 friends greet you."

Example 2 (past form): "Imagine you were walking down the street, and 3 friends greeted you.

Ok, thanks for the help. :)
