Hi,
I request you to please correct this sentence. which of the below is correct usage to appreciate?
"You are breaking ground zero now a days" or
"You are ground-breaking now a days"
Regards,
Sriram
'Ground-breaking' means that something is radically new and innovative. 'Ground zero' refers to the site of an explosion or some other disaster.
'Ground-breaking' is an adjective, but the words can also be separated and used as a noun and a verb. I would suggest what you want to say is:
'You are breaking new ground these days.' This means that the person you are addressing has discovered an innovative way of handling a situation.
I agree with Preceptor.
(Note that nowadays is a single word.)
