    Default nearly here

I often hear "nearly here" being used for a season or a month.
eg. "Winter season is nearly here". "November is nearly here".

I would like to know whether "nearly here" can be used for a specific day.
For example, "The match is nearly here" is right?

If you're waiting for a specific day or date, then yes.
