how to teach Alphabet

I'm a teacher in a beginner class. I always have some problems in teaching English letters .I teach them in this way.I don't know if it is a good method or bad one:
"first I teach them small letters then capital letters".I think it is not a good method. Now , please guide me in this regard.

It doesn't really matter all that much. The objective is to have students learn the symbols and how to write them. Some teachers start with lower case because they feel it's what students see more often. But you could just as well teach upper case first or even lower case and upper case together. That's what I do.
