Default Please Question and Sentence Correction

    Hi Teachers,
According to the short story below, is this a correct question?
    a) Who wanted to know about the train's punctuality?

Arthur often goes to London by train and when he does it, he always takes the eight o'clock train. He is going there today and he went there yesterday, too. Now he is talking to an old friend. His name is Alan.

Alan: Does this train usually arrive on time?

Arthur: Yes, it does, but it didn’t yesterday. It arrived late!

By the way, 5jj has already told me that grammatically speaking, there are no errors, but I've added a new sentence, the one in blue, could you also tell me if it is fine?

    Thanks in advance

I would leave out "by train and when he does it".

    Hi sir,
Thank you very much for you reply. So, it should be like this then:

Arthur often goes to London. He always takes the eight o'clock train. He is going there today and he went there yesterday, too. Now he is talking to an old friend. His name is Alan.

How about this question? Should I assume that it is correct because there's no correction?
    a) Who wanted to know about the train's punctuality?

    Thanks

I would make "Arthur" to "train" one sentence, with a comma after "London" and delete the comma after "yesterday".
The question is OK but I would rephrase it "Who wanted to know about the punctuality of the train?".
