Default what is the different between when and by that time

In future perfect and future perfect continous

Such as: By that time we arrive to the cinema the film will have started
When she arrive to the airport the aircraft will have taken off.
When we arrive to the cinema the film will have been going on for ten minutes.

May be Can I use both of time-clauses?

'By the time ... perhaps lays more emphasis on the lateness of our arrival than 'when'.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

So I can use both of them. Just the "by the time" is stronger. Thank you.
