Please need short story correction (Unit 3)

Hi Teachers,
Could you correct this story that I rewrote please? It is for low intermediate students,

Julia often gets up late and she got up late this morning again. She took a very quick shower and got dressed very quickly. For breakfast, she only ate some cornflakes and drank some coffee. Because she didn’t have very much time this morning, she did not wash the dishes and she didn’t clean the kitchen table.

Julia often gets up late and she got up late this morning again. She took a very quick shower and got dressed very quickly. For breakfast, she only ate some cornflakes and drank some coffee. Because she didn’t have very much time this morning, she did not wash the dishes and she didn’t clean the kitchen table.

Julia usually got up late and this morning was no exception. She rinsed herself in the shower and threw on any essential piece of clothing to hand. A brief moment at the breakfast table allowed her to wash down some cornflakes with an unpleasant swallow of black coffee. And since she was really in a hurry this morning, she left all her dishes in the sink, except for those that never left the table.

Thank so much for your reply. It certainly is a great correction. But it's a pitty that my students are low intermediate ones. Your story will be too dificult for them. Though I'll keep it in one of my folders for advanced students.
