    Default structure of sentence

    hi using english
I have encountered with a unexperienced structure when I studied some English text.Do you think you could explain for me this following sentence with regard to structure?or what kind of structure has this sentence? My problem is related to phrase in the first place and kind of its relationship with main sentence.I hope to have a good explanation on my question.thanks a lot.
BEING SESSILE AND PHOTOAUTOTROPHIC , PLANT ARE PARTICULARLY SENSITIVE TO THIS CRUCIAL EXTERNAL SIGNAL.

If you know a reference for learning complicated structures in English composition please offer me.

    Welcome to the forum, maly.
The structure is not particularly complex or uncommon, though the second and fourth words will probably be new to most native speakers, except biologists. By the way, plant should be plants.

    Being ....., = As.. I/we/it/they/etc.. am/is/are/was/were...,

So, your sentence could be re-worded as: As plants are sessile and photoautotrophic, they are particularly sensitive to this crucial external signal.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
