If you were talking to me and you said "There is so much to talk", I can tell you exactly what would happen. I would look expectantly at you, waiting for you to finish your sentence. It's not complete without "about".

Say either 'There is so much to talk about' or 'There is so much to discuss'.

(discuss = talk about)
