What does it mean by "converged opportunities" as in the context below :

I'm not certain, but I'd say it means something like "synergies" in business terms.
An example might be two functions that previously required an individual effort could now be done together; or two functions that previously produced two small results could combine to form a much enhanced result, impossible with either function alone - a synergy.
But I have to admit I can't keep up with evolving business language. It's becoming almost as obscure as postmodern academic language.
I'd interpret it they same way- bringing services together in IT is often called convergence.
