Question about directions (4)

Hi Teachers,
Could you help me please?

The students have read a story and then I give them an exercise with question and answers to be respond.

Are these appropriate direction for my purpose according to exercises 1 and 2?
They seem quite redundant to me because of the word 'answer'.
Will it better if I don't mix the exercise with questions and answers to be written?
These are only examples. In fact, there are about 20 questions. In some of them they have to write the wh-question and in some others the answer.

Ask wh-questions based on the bold words in the answer or answer them. They are sentences from Episode 3 on page 14.

2. Where can he find food and some warm clothes?
