    Default turn up

    Dear all,

A wrestling trainer is training his students to do some promos, and he wants them to express their personalities in front of the camera.

One of them did that really good. So the trainer says "Excellent. There was a twinkle in the eyes, and a little turn up of your lip."

What does he mean by "turn up of your lip" and what does that refer to?

    Thanks a lot.

One's upper lip curls as part of a snarl or a sneer- an evolutionary holdover from when we showed our teeth to frighten our enemies.

    It shows aggression.

    Aggression or "enthusiasm", right?

    Thanks.

Aggression and enthusiasm are not the same.
