    Dear teachers:

Please tell me which one of the following is correct?

If a person is left with nothing, then he has nothing to fear

They're all OK but I'm not sure about the logic.

As my signature line clearly says, I don't know conditionals very well, but the third one sounds very odd to me. If he were... then he would.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    1 & 2: 1 is a zero conditional and 2, structurally at least, a 1st conditional.
