Dear teachers:
Please tell me which one of the following is correct?
If a person is left with nothing, then he has nothing to fear
If a person is left with nothing, then he will have nothing to fear
if a person is left with nothing, then he would have nothing to fear
Thank you so much!
thanks I appreciate it! Don't worry about the logic :)
As my signature line clearly says, I don't know conditionals very well, but the third one sounds very odd to me. If he were... then he would.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
