Hello,
I'm not sure if I ask some questions correctly.
Is this the correct way to ask:
"What country a daffodil is the symbol of?
A daffodil is the symbol of Wales."
Thank you.)

I would say:
Which country has a/the daffodil as a symbol?
Which country's symbol is a daffodil?
I'd use 'national flower' or 'emblem' rather than 'symbol'.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
I thank everyone for their answers.
IsS there a big difference between using "a" or "the" with "daffodil" in this context?
See attached scan please.
Thank you.
