    Default as usage

    Are these sentences correct:

    1-Our study on intoxication doesn't limit itself to alcohol as intoxicant but takes a few other substances into consideration as well.

    2-We are not considering only Freud as psychologist but are taking into account a few other famous psychologists as well.

    Personally, I would add an indefinite article in front of "psychologist" and "intoxicant". However, I have seen and heard that form used in several places, so I would venture to guess that it's accepted.
