Are these sentences correct:
1-Those shirts were popular in the eighties. I had a few myself.
2-Those shirts were popular in the eighties. I had them myself.
3-Those shirts were popular in the eighties. I wore them myself.
I understand that 3 doesn't mean the same as "1" or "2". But the meanings do come close (one tends to wear the shirts one has).
In any case, I wanted to see if these sentences were correct.
I just wanted to see if "them" worked in sentences "2" and "3". It is not referring to all of the shirts in questions, but to a very limited number of them.
It seems to me that "3" works fine but "2" does not.
Gratefully

#3 is fine. I think that #2 is.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
