    Default Problem

    Please correct the following-
1- Fielded men have been killed in a close fight.

2-They are still felt in my memory.

    1. What do you mean by "fielded"? Experienced soldiers? People with extensive experience in the field?

    2. They live on in my memory. I still feel them in my heart. I still remember them. There are many ways to say this. But "felt in my memory" doesn't feel natural to me.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Dear all teacher ,I opened online " Wordnik dictionary" and entered word "fielded",there was written

Fielded (Adj)-1- Being in field of battle
    2- Engaged in field

From there ,I used Fielded men, then why is it wrong?

Below is cut and paste from the mentioned dictionary

This is a very uncommon use of the word.
