exotic vanilla products
Dear all,
How should I understand the underlined in the sentence below?
I knew exotic means "related to foreign countries", and vanilla is a substance used to give special taste to ice cream.
But I cannot figure out the meaning of "exotic vanilla products" and how the phrase is related to financial products as indicated in the context.
Can anyone give me a clue?
Thanks in advance.
