The next vs Next Ex:
A) Let's meet in New York next time.
Let's meet in New York the next time.
B) Next time you see me, tell me about your trip.
The next time you see me, tell me about your trip.
C) Next time you have a problem, come and see me.
The next time you have a problem, come and see me.

Which one is more appropriate academic grammar wise?

Ahhhhh, flip a coin. but I would prefer the first example in each of A), B) and C).
