difference Hello everybody!
Please can someone tell me the difference between "sure' and "of course"?

As disjuncts, sure is more informal; otherwise, they carry the same meaning of agreement or emphasis.

Re: difference You could say "I am sure (certain) that my lessons commence at 9.00am"
If you are not sure, you could say "of course, they may not take place today, I have heard that the teacher is ill"
