Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Please let us know your flight timing/timings. ( which one is more accurate?)

2. He is just learning to play soccer or learning soccer.

3. How about spending some time to understand the game of chess?

Please let us know your flight timing/timings. Neither is accurate.
"Please let us know the time of your flight" is accurate.

If you were to say, "Please let us know your flight time", this would not be accurate because the sentence could mean "let us know when your flight will leave/arrive" or "let us know the length of your flight.

If accuracy is what you are aiming for, then I believe that my first sentence is the most accurate.

Sentences 2 and 3 are OK.

Flight schedule would include the departure and arrival times.

I would suggest "to understand" instead of "to understanding" in your third sentence.

However, I'd use the verb "learn" instead of "understand" if it were my own sentence.

If you want to know what time the flight lands, say so!
Please let us know what time your flight lands.
