I gained experience (few months intern) in a marketing firm few years ago.
Now I apply for a job in a marketing firm.

I want to tell the employer that
“when I think about the marking experience clearly, I know that a career in marketing is the career that I am looking for (,because I like the job nature).


Can I say

Your sentence is OK. But if you are looking for a job, the best thing is to tell the prospective employer what you can do for him. He really doesn't care that you have decided what career you want.

Some do, but I agree it's not enough. The applicant has to be convincing about what he/she can actually bring to the company.
