Which sentence uses the correct preposition to describe a photograph taken inside(at?) an apartment complex? (The complex has a pool in the center of the complex with apartments lining the perimeter of the property. The photograph is taken inside the perimeter in front of an apartment).

1) I took this picture at our apartment complex outside my apartment.

2) I took this picture in our apartment complex outside my apartment.
