    Default difference in the meaning

What is the difference in the meaning between the following sentences.

    - Don't go overboard being wise.

    - Don't go overboard in being wise.

Are the two correct gramatically with no difference in the meaning?

    Thanks in advance.

They are grammatically correct. The meaning is not very clear though.

    No, there shouldn't.

It's impossible to pinpoint a difference in meaning, paris, when the meaning is unclear to start with.
