    Default besides go swimming

What else do you like doing besides go swimming?

I read this sentence in a grammar book. Can we also use 'besides going swimming' in a context like this?

    Thank you in advance.

Not only can you, but you should. The sentence you quote is not very natural.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
