    Default nothing

    Hello,

-Sometimes, there is not nothing better.

I could't understand that what it means. Does it mean there is anything better or something esle? Because 'not' and 'nothing' are used together.

    Thanks...

There exists no thing, idea, concept, plan, whatever, that is better than whatever you are talking about.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

As you pointed out, it uses "not" and "nothing" which makes it grammatically incorrect. There are two possibilities:

    Sometimes, there is nothing better.
    Sometimes, there isn't anything better.

Sorry, I managed to miss that "not" completely!
    There is nothing better.
