While writing an assignment how should I deal with the speaker as a student ?

My assignment topic is : Development Of Essays by Various Techniques

There are various techniques of development to write a good and informative essay. You or One or We
should develop these techniques one by one with useful and relevant information. ?

Establish Your Topic or Establishment of the topic : ? ( it\'s a point)

Actually I want to know, which is called this(You or One or We) in the language of grammar?( I heard that before but I can not remember now)
