cop DEKA
It is a Japanese slang word for a police detective.
Are there such slang words in English?

Teacher Re: cop Hello, cop is also used as a slang word for the police in the UK. There are also strange words such as 'the old bill', or simply 'the bill', 'coppers', 'bobbies' and several rude ones that I shan't list!

Teacher Re: cop 'Pig' and 'filth' are used rudely. We also have 'rozzer' and 'plod' in BrE.

Re: cop Other terms for the police include 'plod', (From Police Constable 'Plod' in an old U.K. childrens T.V. show) 'the fuzz', 'the boys in blue'.
