    Default It's like you're catching a cold.

Is there subtle difference in the meaning between "1" and "2".
    1. It's like you're catching a cold.
    2. It seems like you're catching a cold.

To my ear, 1. sounds like you're implying it's not a cold and it's something else similar to a cold. 2. sounds like it really is a cold. Of course, context would sort this out.
