    Cool Present simple/Present continuous

    Hello!

Can tell me if the tenses used are correct here, please?:

"Now more and more people decide to live alone.(...) The average household size is also falling at the moment.
    (...)
Currently, the number of retired people is increasing. It increased by 14.3%between 1984 and 1997 and this number continues to rise now.

    (...)
Currently, the number of children is also falling."

    I'm not sure about "continues".

Thank you very much for your help.
    Will

    Your choices were fine.
    Will17 and sumon. like this.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
