Hello Guys,
I am again stuck with the following phrases :
1. auf wiedersehen
2. slap your vote
3. get up on your gerunds
4. wearing shies
And definitions :
1. Gerunds
2. Shies
Thank You in advance!
Regards,
Please, please, PLEASE give us the context in which you see phrases when you need help understanding them.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
Barb_D is right, we need context.
But "gerund" means the -ing form of an English verb: doing, following.
[Not a teacher]
And please, Please, PLEASE, ask only one question in each thread.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
