I am again stuck with the following phrases :


1. auf wiedersehen - This is German, not English.
2. slap your vote - Looks like an Indian thing; it doesn't really mean anything to me.
3. get up on your gerunds - This is not a phrase I'm familiar with.
4. wearing shies - Again, this is not familiar sounding.


And definitions :

1. Gerunds - gerund
2. Shies - skis?

But "gerund" means the -ing form of an English verb: doing, following.
