Personal but serious problem

Dear all Teacher
I have done B.tech (Professional degree). Now I wish to have master degree in English language. But It is not possible in my country as I have been told that an engineer can not do.
So would you tell me any way to do this? And what is highest degree in English language?
Sir,Is Online master degree also important and valid every where ?

It's impossible for us to answer such specific questions as to how to obtain a graduate degree in India or what the highest level of education is in your country. There are Master Degree courses available online, but many are scams, and even obtaining certification from a legitimate online program would deprive you of the face-to-face speaking and listening practice needed to master a second language.

Why do you want an advanced degree? Is it strictly to further your career, or is it because you want to become more proficient in English? If you strictly want to speak/read/write better English, you don't need an official Master's degree from a university; there are other courses you can take.

No,I want to have an advanced degree in English language ,but not to be proficient in English. It will further my career. If It is not possible in India,then may be it will be possible in your country or other countries. So please tell me ,if it is possible out of India.

In the US, if you want to get an advanced degree in a subject other than your major in your undergraduate program, you will probably have to take additional classes at the undergraduate level first. Depending on the program, they may let you begin your master's program concurrent with your taking the undergraduate courses, or they may need to see that you've successfully completed those courses first before admitting you to the program.

For example, when I got my MBA, I had never taken any accounting classes, because I was not a business major for my bachelor's degree. I had to take two accounting classes first. If I got an A in the first (which I did), I could skip the second. Once I had that A, I could begin my master's program. (I took the second course anyway just to learn the content.)

I've also looked into getting a master's degree in speech pathology. I had taken no biology courses in college (just physics and chemistry), so I would have had to have taken an additional undergraduate course before being fully admitted to the pgoram. However, that program would have let me start my master's coursework concurrent with the undergraduate course.

So you would need to identify the program you're interested it, read their criteria for admission, and most likely send your transcripts for a review to identiy what additional work you might have to do.

If you want to have a higher degree in your area of specialisation, it may not be necessary to be native-speaker competent. I imagine it is virtually impossible to get a higher degree in English Language unless you are native-speaker competent.
