Do these sound natural and have the same meaning?

You need to accept yourself as what you are.

Hehe,I seem have never noticed it.
I guess the 1st sentence emphasizes one's occupation or social status or position.
I guess the 2nd sentence emphasizes one's behavior or disposition or temper.

With regard to n.1 how about:
a.) Accept yourself FOR WHO you are

    You could also say

    b) Accept yourself FOR WHAT you are

Your sentence n.2 sounds fine to me.

    Hope it helps
