Question long, has been the road I´ve travelled on.

Hi. Could you help me to find the right way to say " long, has been the road I´ve travelled on" or "long, it has been the way I´ve travelled on". Thank you very much. Domdomingues2003

Default Re: long, has been the road I´ve travelled on.

You can say 'Long has been the road I've travelled on', but it has a poetic feel about it.

'I've been travelling on a long road' (The road is long)
'I've been travelling on this road for a long time'. (The travelling time was long)
