    Question how to express

    I want to express a certain meaning that "to find my own merits and demerits as well as my interest and objective".

    Can I use "dig myself" to express such meaning?

    If it doesn't work, can you give me some other brief expression?

    I think you could say 'dig into myself', but I would call it 'self examination'.
