Default Can I use the verbs given with 'on a computer'?

    Hi Teachers,
Can I use the verbs given with 'on a computer'? Are there any others with the same meaning?
What is she doing now? She is working on / typing on a computer.

    Thanks in advance

For me "working on a computer" is fine. "Typing on a computer" doesn't quite work though I can't really tell you why because "typing on a typewriter" would have been absolutely fine.

Maybe "typing on a computer keyboard" sounds better.

For some reason, I don't really equate typing in that regard with computers.

    - Did she type it at home?
    - No, she wrote it on the computer at the library.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply.
Will it be fine to say, 'She is writing on the computer'?
