    Default let's stop + ing

Thee construction 'let's stop + ing'(imperative sentences) is it used in informal English? And also could any verb work with it?

    e.g. Let's stop arguing!
    Let's stop drinking! etc.

It is widely used in informal English.

It would sound very odd with certain verbs:

'Let's stop dying!' 'Let's stop stopping!'
