    Default speak vs talk

What is your take on the following sentences? Are they okay?

    1. We could not understand them because they were talking in Chinese.
    2. Are they talking Swedish or Danish?

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find links to previous discussions on this topic.

Such links often appear if people give their threads relevant titles - as you did.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
