What do we call the ritual which takes place at the end of a wedding where the bride throws away the flower posy with her back facing the guests. Whoever catches the flower will get married next?
Is the above question correct in grammar?
Thank you.
In the US we simply refer to that as the "tossing of the bouquet" or "throwing of the bouquet." Or, more accurately, someone will run to the bar area where the tired guests have congregated and are taking advantage of the free liquor and call out "Hey you guys*, the bride is going to throw her bouquet!" And then the amenable single women get in position to catch the bridal bouquet.

*In AmE "guys" doesn't necessarily refer strictly to males. It is a generic term used to address a group or crowd of people of both sexes.
