    Default Scheme and others questions

Hi, there are some things I have doubts about ...

Is Scheme and Plan means the same thing?

Is it correct to understand "hatched" as conspire to devise?

What is "Behalf" on Obama's behalf? I always had troubles with this word

"The scheme Dunn hatched on Obama’s behalf revolved around a simple transaction. Every time he did an event for a candidate, Hopefund would require the
beneficiary to set up a registration system and then turn
over the attendees’ email addresses to the PAC."
