How is "bring up charges" different from "bring charges"?

Teacher Re: Bring Up 'Bring up' is probably used incorrectly here, in my opinion.. If you 'bring charges', you take a formal action in law. If you 'bring up' charges, you merely mention them.
bring charges legal definition of bring charges. bring charges synonyms by the Free Online Law Dictionary.Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
