Use of apostrophe

I need to know if I have used the apostrophe correctly in the following sentence:

That night we got back to the Vargas’ home and said bye to Reyna, Denise, Victorcito and Karla since they were leaving to Mexico.

I need to know if I have used the apostrophe correctly in the following sentence:
That night we got back to the Vargas’ home and said bye to Reyna, Denise, Victorcito and Karla since they were leaving to Mexico.

I thought that might be correct, but according to the site below (Rule 5), it should be Vargases'.
